PRESIDENT
The Union Executive of India is made up of the President, the Vice-President, and the Council of Ministers, which is led by the Prime Minister and assists and advises the President.
The President of India is the country's head of state as well as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The Prime Minister and the cabinet make all executive decisions in the name of the President.
While several of our presidents have been remarkable performers with a distinct point of view, a few of them have also climbed through the ranks of the country's political establishment. However, as President, they have opted to act in the best interests of the nation, rather than their own political inclinations.
